CH-3534 poor precision & fit

This watch is advertised as a "premium collection" pocket watch. I expected much better manufacturing precision for the price. I bought the CH-3534 to display on an art nouveau pocket watch stand. The problem with the watch I received was... when hanging vertical, the second hand did not index on the tick marks. It ran ahead of the tick marks from 12 to 6 and behind from 6 to 12. The reason most likely is backlash in the gearing. Also, the watch did not hang straight and would not center on the stand because hook ring was asymmetrical. I like the style of the case, face and hands. The watch finish is as advertised. Regarding overall watch precision, I have $12 discount store pocket watches that are superior. I informed iPocketwatches of the problem and they returned the watch without question. I requested a replacement watch but after 2 months they refunded my money because they were not able to ship one.

Watch is well finished and fitted. Keeps excellent time, also like large easy to read dial and old school styling. The fact this watch is also water proof is another plus. Only disappointment I had is that the crystal is not as thick and heavy as I expected. Still for the money I can't complain.
